.jpg
file in the "eXtreme Gammon 2/Backgammon"
directory..bmp
files. Put all these files in the "eXtreme Gammon 2/Common"
directory. This website helps you produce some custom graphics to use in eXtreme Gammon 2 (XG), for 2d mode only.
The menus on the left let you customize the colors (and more) of the board, checkers and dice.
On the right, you can see a preview of what it will look like in XG.
You can also load some pre-made themes (presets) and modify them to your liking.
When your are done, you can download a .jpg
file for the board, and some .bmp
files for the checkers and dice.
These files should be placed in some subdirectory where eXtreme Gammon 2 is installed on your computer.
On most computers, this will probably be in C:\Program Files (x86)\eXtreme Gammon 2
.
The .jpg
should be placed in the Backgammon
subdirectory, and the .bmp
files should be placed in the Common
subdirectory.
Finally, open eXtreme Gammon, click on Options
then Board Configuration...
and select the board and checkers you just made.
You can save your current configuration using the Save menu. This will make you download a .json
file containing all the information needed.
You can later load and modify this theme by pasting the content of that file in the Themes menu.
eXtreme Gammon automatically adds this logo to the board when rendering. This logo is the file 3d/Logo.bmp
in your eXtreme Gammon 2 installation directory.
It seems like removing or renaming the file, or even replacing it with this file, will prevent the logo from being rendered.
